With a close eye for detail and meticulous hand crafting skills, 23 year old Lan Tusi creates beautiful steampunk-fused insects for a living. From giant African beetles to creepy Tarantulas, Tusi captures the likeness and mannerisms of these critters while giving them features akin to the steampunk subgenre. Having grown up with a keen interest in insects and old victorian era style art from a young age, he decided to combine the both of them into renditions of nature and machinery that strengthen the insect’s most prominent features. His creations allow him to make a decent living, having worked full time on all of his projects netting him nearly 15-20k per month in earnings!
